Hi, I am Carolina Jaramillo Isaza, a self-tought plastic artist born in Cali, Colombia. Human nature, inner feelings and myths are my source of inspiration to capture vivid images on my canvas, where I seek to reflect   those harmonic expressions of uncertainty, of that never ending search that nests in the boundless universe of Self. I find a true sense of fulfilment and joy when, guided by my paintbrush and palette, I live my dream of painting an impossible, invading my canvas purity with new values and expressions of tones and textures that flow in between water and oils, leaving smooth, colorful traces.

My abstract-eclectic art expression came to me very naturally early in my life and, it is the result of my observations of human behavior in different environments, complemented by my appreciation of things textures, colors and materials. I love to focus on that mystic essence of simple facts in daily life. As an art painter, I find it exciting fusing techniques to give life to feelings, passion and strength of us, complex human beings.

Mi plastic art mingles the opposites while they fight to conquer space on my canvas, where they reconcile in harmony after they finally accept that their existence is mutually dependent, that they are not to conflict but to complement each other; they enrich while put together, they live and share a lighted presence in that canvas that soon will become a gift of warm colors and energy to us. I let paint to freely flow just like life itself. My empty canvas and I know today´s moment and, will get together to an unexpected yet vivid future that I want to share with you.
